Members of The Lambourn Shed, part of the Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company, were out in force today giving the village a seasonal clean-up. Volunteers of all ages worked together to clear footpaths and alleyways around Lambourn, collecting litter, leaves and a few less pleasant items to make sure the paths are safe and not slippery underfoot.

Many passers-by stopped to thank the team and remarked on how heartening it was to see such community spirit in action. By the end of the morning, a full trailer of waste and four large industrial bags of leaves had been collected and taken for disposal at licensed waste sites.

The Lambourn Shed is all about hands-on community activity and friendly teamwork. Whether it is making planters, mending benches, or keeping the village tidy, there is always something useful and enjoyable to do.

If you would like to be part of this lively group, come and join The Lambourn Shed – there are no membership fees, just plenty of good company and fun projects.
