The Lambourn Shed is fast becoming one of the village’s most exciting community projects. Run as part of Lambourn Junction, it offers a space where people of all ages can work together, share skills, and create practical projects that benefit both themselves and the wider community.

More than a workshop, the Shed is a social hub that brings together craftspeople, volunteers, and anyone keen to learn or lend a hand. The aim is simple: to make things, mend things, and make friends along the way.

From Bird Boxes to Village Improvements

Since its launch, The Lambourn Shed has brought residents together for projects ranging from woodworking to local clean-ups and environmental improvements. Members have already built bird boxes, tidied footpaths, and repaired items for community use. Every project is a reminder that when people work side by side, both the village and its sense of belonging grow stronger.

The coming months promise to be particularly active, with a wide variety of events taking place across Lambourn and Upper Lambourn. From autumn clean-ups to bread-making and social evenings, there is something for everyone.
