Anna Field has been making great progress towards setting up a youth club for the young people of Lambourn. The project which is instigated under the auspices of the Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company is nearing the public consultation stage which is expected to start in October. A consultation with young residents based around a marquee in the market place is being considered as a way of finding out what the young people of Lambourn would like to see as activities associated and promoted by a youth club.
Anna is involving many local organisations including the Lambourn Parish Council, West Berkshire Youth, West Berkshire Council and many others. “In this way we can harness the expertise and experience of many organisations and individuals to set up a youth club which will will serve the youth of Lambourn with just what they want.” said Anna, a Director of the Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company.
