The Lambourn Youth Junction recently enjoyed a spectacular trip to London’s Apollo Theatre to see the renowned West End production of Wicked. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Church of England School House Trust, more than 45 children had the opportunity to experience this spellbinding musical.

For many of the youngsters, this was their first visit to a West End theatre, making the experience even more extraordinary. The dazzling performance, breathtaking stagecraft, and unforgettable music left everyone mesmerised.

The trip was a resounding success, running smoothly with no hiccups, no one was lost, and all returned home brimming with excitement. A huge thank you goes to the dedicated team of volunteer helpers who accompanied the group, ensuring a safe and enjoyable excursion.

This event was more than just a night at the theatre, it was an opportunity to broaden horizons, foster teamwork, and strengthen the sense of community among the young people of Lambourn. Thanks once again to the Church of England School House Trust for making this unforgettable experience possible.
