Lambourn Junction is pleased to announce that Graham Jones and Doug Kirby have joined the Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company as additional Directors. They bring loads of experience to the team, and we are excited to have them join us as we carry on supporting Lambourn and the Valley of the Racehorse.

Graham and Doug are joining the three other volunteer directors, giving their time and energy to help make a difference in the community. With their input, we are looking forward to building on the projects already running and offer support in our community where it is needed  most.

The Lambourn Junction is involved in so many great initiatives, like the Food Junction, which supports those in need with groceries and essentials, the Youth Junction, which gives young people a fun and safe space to meet up. The Lunch Club brings people together over meals, the Community Bus for special outings, the Lambourn Environmental Group who are busy planting. The Lambourn Junction also run the Friendship Café to help people connect over a hot drink. The community website  is also part of the Lambourn Junction, it keeps everyone in the loop with news, local information and a business directory.

Looking ahead, we’re excited about new ideas like a Men’s Shed for Lambourn, a Youth Council and a few other projects we are developing for 2025.

With Graham and Doug on board, we’re feeling really positive. They’ll be helping us keep things running smoothly and find new ways to make a difference.

If you’d like to know more about what we are up to, have some suggestions or if you would like to get involved, check out our website at lambournjunction.uk. or send an email to mail@lambournjunction.uk
