The Lambourn Food Bank has once again stepped up to support families in the Lambourn Valley, delivering over 40 Christmas hampers to those in need today. These carefully prepared hampers were filled with essential items, festive treats, and a bit of holiday cheer to help make this Christmas brighter for local families facing difficult times.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Julie Blogg for organising the initiative and to everyone who contributed, whether by volunteering time, donating goods, or providing financial support. The generosity of the Lambourn community has been nothing short of inspiring, ensuring that no one feels forgotten during the festive season.

The Lambourn Food Bank operates as part of The Lambourn Junction, a community hub committed to supporting local people through various initiatives. Its mission is simple yet powerful: to foster kindness, inclusivity, and practical support in the heart of the valley.

Unlike many food assistance programs, the Lambourn Food Bank does not require means testing, ensuring that help is accessible to anyone who needs it. Whether you’re experiencing a temporary setback or facing ongoing challenges, the food bank is here to offer immediate support—no questions asked.

The food bank will be open tomorrow as usual, and anyone in need is encouraged to visit. Volunteers are on hand to provide food parcels with warmth and understanding. It’s not just about sustenance; it’s about showing that the community cares.
