The Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company oversees a number of community projects in and around Lambourn. If you are interested in assisting with any of the projects or have an idea for a new project please contact us. All projects have to adhere to the Guiding Principles of the company. We have a short guide which sets out what happens when we adopt a new project.
Lambourn Junction Food Bank
The food Junction is a food bank, providing groceries and essentials for residents of Lambourn and the Lambourn valley who, for whatever reason, are unable to afford basic food and toiletries. The Lambourn Food Junction is a great success and serves over 60 families in need on a weekly basis.

Modeled on a parish council, it will address issues such as youth services, public safety, and the environment, giving the younger generation a voice in their community.
The Lambourn Lunch Club
The Lambourn Lunch Club provides a safe, warm place to meet and have a free meal for those who are struggling with the cost of living. It is there to provide social contact, a warm meal in an environment where no-one judges or comments. It is just “A Warm Welcome”. The Lunch Club also delivers hot meals to individuals in the community who cannot physically attend.
Lambourn Community Bus
The Lambourn Community Bus, which has been serving the community for many years, is a project operated since September 2023 under the auspices of the Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company. Lambourn Junction Friendship Cafe
The Friendship Cafe is where the Lambourn community converges, regardless of age or background. You’re greeted with smiles and warmth, a true reflection of the tight-knit community spirit. At the heart of the Friendship Cafe is inclusivity. It’s a space where everyone is valued and accepted, regardless of any obstacles they may face. For individuals living with dementia, finding social settings where they feel comfortable can be challenging.

Lambourn Parish Council Website
We collaborate with the Lambourn Parish Council to set up and maintain the council’s website. Using this approach the Council has full control of their website whilst the costs are absolutely minimal. Keep it Local! A big thank you to 100%IT, based in Newbury, for providing hosting services. This means more funds can be used for the benefit of the community. https://lambourn-pc.gov.uk
