The Lambourn Youth Junction Safer Cycling Project aims to promote safe cycling practices for young people (year 5 to 9) in the Lambourn Valley. The project will host bike maintenance sessions where experienced repairers will teach participants essential bike care skills and ensure their bikes are roadworthy. In addition, fun and engaging cycling safety briefings will be held, focusing on how to ride safely, especially during the dark winter months on roads around Lambourn. The project will also offer subsidised safety equipment, such as lights and high-visibility vests, to ensure young cyclists are well-equipped for safer journeys.
We are delighted to have been awarded funding by generous donors through The Good Exchange to make this project a reality.
