The Lambourn Junction Food Bank is a community led initiative to support those in need with food and essential supplies. It is supported by the community with volunteers and donations, as a drop-in, needs led food hub, offering food, household items and toiletries. The Food Bank is operated by The Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company, a not-for-profit community initiative. Food poverty is a real issue and is particularly evident in rural environments. The Lambourn Junction Food Bank has a team of volunteers who ensure the distribution of the groceries to those most in need.
We do not means test, we do not judge, we simply distribute food and toiletries to those who need a helping hand.
Donations from local residents and businesses has been phenomenal, the generosity shown by community to those in need has impressed everyone.
The Lambourn Junction Food Bank is located in the blue portacabin in the public car park, High Street, Lambourn (Behind Lambourn Universal Stores)
