What is the Imagination Library?
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a free programme that gifts books to children. Registered children will get a free book every month until they turn 5 years old. The books are delivered directly to your child, at home, every month. The programme was started by Dolly Parton in 1995. She was inspired by her father, who couldn’t read or write. The programme’s goal is to help children everywhere love reading.
Who can sign up?
All families living in the Lambourn Parish area can register. You are welcome to register all your children under 5 if you have more than one – each year of birth receives different books each month.

What Happens After I Sign Up?
After you sign up, it can take up to 8 weeks for your first book to arrive. The books will be sent in the post to your home and will have your child’s name on it. The first book is a special edition of The Tale of Peter Rabbit. After that the books will be age and stage appropriate based on your child’s year of birth.
