Love to sing? Why not come along to the Lambourn Valley Singing Group? Music, laughter and friendship come together there in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Meeting fortnightly on Tuesday evenings from 7.15 pm to 9.00 pm at Walwyn Hall, the group enjoys singing a wide range of well known and popular songs. There are no auditions, no pressure and no need to read music. Whether you sing every day, only in the shower, or have never sung in a group before, you will be made very welcome.
Research has shown that community singing can improve well-being, reduce stress, boost confidence and help people make new friends. Above all, it is great fun and a wonderful way to spend an evening with like minded people.
The group which already has 20 members is organised by Karen helping to bring people together through shared activities that strengthen our local community. You can attend the sessions for free, and we always appreciate donations to cover the hall’s hire.
