At Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. Many of the people we support, whether through the Food Bank, The Lunch Club, The Shed, The Youth Council or other community projects, include children, young people and adults who may be vulnerable because of age, disability, illness or difficult life circumstances.
We believe that everyone has the right to live safely, free from harm, abuse and neglect. Safeguarding is a shared responsibility across our entire organisation and every volunteer and director plays an essential part in creating an environment where everyone feels secure, respected and supported.
Our approach is proactive, compassionate and grounded in best practice. We ensure all concerns are taken seriously and acted upon swiftly, following clear reporting procedures and working closely with statutory agencies when required.
By being vigilant, caring and consistent, we help make Lambourn Junction a place where everyone is safe, valued and treated with dignity.
